Porcelain Picks MLB | Tuesday, August 12th - Bankroll Build Day 2

Wednesday, August 12, 2026

7 bets across 4 games today, mixing high-conviction plays with a couple of longshot upside spots. Full stakes and reasoning below.

Corbin Carroll 1+ Triples (+960)

$10 to win $96.

Carroll is one of the "safest" triples plays in baseball right now. He led MLB in 2025 with 17 triples in 564 AB (one per 33 AB) and is at 13 triples in 440 AB in 2026 (one per 34 AB). Elite consistent rate. The kicker tonight is the venue: Chase Field is a monster triples park, with a 3B park factor of 211 for LHB and 199 for RHB (100 is neutral). That means triples are roughly twice as likely to happen here as at a neutral park.

Combining Carroll's elite triples rate with a park that doubles the base rate, +960 (implied 9.4%) is a great price. His true probability tonight is closer to 15%+.

Baltimore Orioles ML (-102) — Early Win Promo (2 Up to Win)

$25 to win $24.51 (with early-win promo that pays out if BAL goes up 2 at any point).

Zebby Matthews has real trouble with the middle of the BAL lineup. Vs RHB in 2026 he's giving up a .326 wOBA, 2.0 HR/9, and a 19.6% HR/FB rate. That's a gas can profile against a lineup that has Pete Alonso hitting cleanup at .503 SLG and a 23.0% HR/FB rate. Henderson leads off (12.7% HR/FB, 45.1% hard hit) and Holliday hits 3rd (12.5% HR/FB).

I already like BAL to win outright, but the Early Win promo is the real value here. Get up 2 at any point and this cashes automatically. With the top of the Orioles order matched up perfectly against Matthews' worst splits, getting 2 runs early feels very live.

Baltimore Orioles 1st Inning HR (+400)

$10 to win $40.

Same thesis as the Early Win bet. Matthews gives up 2.0 HR/9 to RHB with a 19.6% HR/FB rate. Pete Alonso at .503 SLG and 23.0% HR/FB against RHP is exactly the profile you want. Even Henderson at leadoff (12.7% HR/FB) has real 1st-inning HR upside as a lefty.

Getting +400 on a top-of-order lineup with this HR profile against a fly ball pitcher who gives up bombs to lefties AND righties is a real value spot. If any of Henderson, Alonso, or Holliday gets one out in the 1st, it cashes.

Junior Caminero to Record an RBI (-115, boosted from -145 with 25% Profit Boost)

$25 to win $21.75.

The boost is what makes this a play at what would otherwise be a fair number. Caminero has been the best power bat on the Rays all year: 27.7% HR/FB vs RHP in 2026, .569 SLG, .386 wOBA, 34 HRs, batting 3rd. Perkins on Oakland gives up a 14.8% hard hit rate on the surface but the RHB numbers show 1.7 HR/9 with a .347 wOBA against.

With Yandy Diaz (leadoff, .358 wOBA vs RHP) and Aranda (.487 SLG) on base in front of him, Caminero has plenty of RBI opportunities. He drives in runs in this spot even without a HR.

T.J. Rumfield 2+ H+R+RBI (-118)

$50 to win $42.37.

The biggest ticket on the card. Rumfield vs RHP has been elite: .491 SLG, 14.8% K rate, .381 wOBA, 9.4% BB. He barely strikes out and puts the ball in play with real authority. Batting 3rd for the Rockies means he's in the meat of the order with McCarthy and Carrigg on base ahead of him.

Facing Merrill Kelly at Chase Field. Kelly's 2026 splits vs LHB are ugly: 13.2% K rate, 10.9% BB, .374 wOBA, 1.9 HR/9, 16.9% HR/FB. Rumfield gets the elite side of Kelly's split.

The 2+ H+R+RBI threshold is very reachable. A double + a run scored gets you there. A hit + a run + an RBI gets you there. His contact skills and lineup spot make hitting this line consistently the base rate.

Over 9 Total Runs COL @ ARI (-114)

$25 to win $21.92.

Both pitchers are exploitable. Feltner (COL) is giving up 1.8 HR/9 to LHB and 2.2 HR/9 to RHB with a .381 wOBA vs RHB. Kelly (ARI) is giving up 1.9 HR/9 vs LHB with a .374 wOBA. Neither has a strong K rate to protect them.

Chase Field context is huge: 3B park factor 211/199, HR factor 75/108. Runs will score with the doubles and triples going up the gap even if the HRs stay in the park.

Rockies lineup with McCarthy, Rumfield, Goodman (.562 SLG, 28.3% HR/FB), Moniak (.602 SLG, 19.1% HR/FB) all vs RHP. Diamondbacks countering with Carroll, Marte, Arenado (.426 SLG), and Perdomo. Both offenses have enough top-end talent to run up a number in a park that plays like this.

Parlay: Jimmy Crooks 1+ K + Tampa Bay Rays ML (-101, +148 combined)

$25 to win $24.76.

Leg 1: Jimmy Crooks 1+ K. Crooks (L) faces Zack Wheeler (R). Wheeler's K rate vs LHB in 2026 is 29.9% (33.6% in 2025). Crooks strikes out at a 29.8% clip vs RHP in 2026. Combined, this is a very high per-PA K probability. Across 3-4 PAs, hitting 1+ K is nearly automatic. This is the closest thing to a lock on the parlay.

Leg 2: Tampa Bay Rays ML. Rasmussen (TB) vs Perkins (OAK). Rasmussen has been solid in 2026 (26.4% K vs RHB, .208 wOBA vs RHB, 0.5 HR/9). Perkins is much shakier (11.0% BB vs LHB, .353 wOBA vs LHB, 1.8 HR/9). The Rays lineup with Caminero and Aranda has real edges. TB should be laying juice as favorites in this matchup.

Pairing a near-lock K prop with a legitimate favorite gets you to plus money on a two-legger. Solid value.
